Who We are

Advanced Auto Service is owned and operated by Michael and Linda Silva. We are second generation owners. Advanced Auto Service's success began with Michael's Father and Mother, Mr. & Mrs. Hank Silva. Michael worked as a part's counter person before coming to work for his dad in 1978 as an apprentice mechanic. Michael is a ASE Certified Master Technician, but is most proud of his Automotive Management Institute's Accredited Automotive Manager (AMM) certification, giving him strong management training. Our technicians are ASE certified up to the Master Level. Between Michael and our staff, they have accumulated over 50 years of quality automotive service.

Advanced Auto Service is growing thanks to our loyal customers, friendly neighbors & competent staff.  We are a second generation, family owned and operated auto repair facility serving St. Louis at the same location since 1957.  We have always focused on problem solving today's complex vehicles.  Advanced Auto Service maintains & repairs fleet cars, trucks and equipment for neighborhood businesses, their owners and employees.

We are recognized as a 'Blue Seal of Excellence" company by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).  Only 42 independent and dealership repair facilities in the state of Missouri currently have earned this designation.
